Funny Greek Life Awards

valleys without values

A week during which a rather odd sprinter won a mountain stage, the peloton was left plugged headsets, escaped escaped like this, where, and which ends in a howl of a hyena which mask the yelps of an old fox foundered. I did well to work as a little crazy, I missed nothing. For cons the coming week I will lose efficiency, the Alps have landed on the Tour and the Tour is not going to end them. Three stages of high mountains, against the clock and a step we will tell through to Mont Ventoux, and then the ride to Paris. Saturday if the differences are as tight now below the last rib of the Tour, it will be a beautiful pestacle. Luckily, I do not work that day. I hope the young wolves will show fangs. It makes me think all that a new Jack London, "A steak," which recounts the last stand of an old boxer who has shot down the ring why he had beaten the old man in his youth had a look so sad.

I await the final look of Armstrong with some emotion.

Expats Retired In Thailand

"A hot dog at The ballgame beats roast beef at the Ritz. "Humphrey Bogart-

This reflection is a response to various comments I received before, during and after my visit to Quebec City Stadium on Wednesday to promote baseball team Capitales de Québec in Quebec which aligns the pitcher Eric Gagne.

I must say from the outset, my facebook status was provocative "will be at Municipal Stadium in Quebec City tonight to see Eric Gagne, winning the 2003 Cy Young Award" .

The comments were all in the same direction, or that this launcher was guilty of using steroids during his career in the majors, as well discredited everything he could perform well and the sport is no longer a mark of cheaters.

GOOD.

Let's settle on one thing. The era of steroids (which appears in the early 1990s) in major league baseball has really hurt the sport, especially for purists. It would be wrong however to think that sport has lost its popularity during this period. Instead, according to a study by Forbes magazine last year, revenue by baseball (ticket sales, TV revenue, merchandise sales) have exploded in recent years. Take for example the support of homeruns between Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa in the summer of 1998, which attracted the eyes of the world on a MLB.

Admittedly, this period has affected the purists of the sport as I have stated previously. I invite you to read an excellent article Jayson Stark of ESPN when published revelations about steroid use in the limelight of New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez, last February.

The other side of the coin

The real purpose of my thinking is to show the other side of the story of baseball. While the popular media stories raffollent crisp, especially those on steroids or what players do off the field.

However, baseball is a bit more than that, very much.

Baseball is this important cultural heritage family. Is there something more significant than the first time that the father and son Launch ball?

Baseball is also the only sport where the stadium is of paramount importance, both in the atmosphere than at the history of the city and the people who live there.

Baseball is the sport accessible. Certainly, in several stages, the price of tickets is very high. However, last year, I attended a game at the Los Angeles Dodgers for a measly $ 9. It is a sport whose players come from several quarters of poor countries like the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Venezuela.

is the sport where statistics are vitally important. These statistics allow the sport part of a story and perpetuate.

is the sport where no matter what stage you're in Los Angeles, Quebec City or in Lasalle, you sing the famous "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" in the 7th round.

This sport EMOTIONS.

is the sport where the game can change dramatically while until the last batter is not removed.

This sport where every pitch is a surprise.

Next time

The next time your brother-in will prompt you at the stadium, whether at Yankee Stadium in New York or the municipal stadium of Quebec, you will certainly scrutinize the arms of every player under the microscope and ask if it was in a Duane Reade of Bedford, Massachusetts or in a CVS pharmacy of Boswell, Pennsylvania that he purchased his little pill.

I invite you to do something else. I invite you, when you cross the doors you remember the first launch of your childhood, to let you wear each launch as perhaps that will change the game and maybe even history. To let you conquer by a spectacular diving shortstop making a double play

I do every time I go. A great feeling, I assure you.

Average Number Of Members At A Gym

Among the gaps

Due to a work rate too excessive, I'm at the stage of the Tour proximity of their arrivals. I do not have a chance to see the soft underbelly, those moments that prepare the delicious final which saw the peloton often pounce on the few that escaped and tear on a last throw of the kidney, otherwise called when the final sprint. I attended with a je ne sais quoi of nostalgia to the failure of Millar on the avenues of Barcelona, a doped rider to the bone but this is the Tour gentry who made his fame. Millar swallowed, I had to wait until tomorrow. Just in case. I was not disappointed. A little kid who tries his luck from distance, then that part company with his fellow breakaway any offhand. And who wins. And assumes the polka dot jersey. A first pro victory. He may win more if he has the chance to deliver in bulk.

Exactly, I thought seeing yesterday's stage, that this Tour has become a competition that could not be won as a team. A man alone will no longer be able, whatever its strength. Spencer needs to go back in his grave. Before Hinault was the time of the aristocrats, the best, time and effort solitary transcendence, we talked about wrestling, wrestling at loggerheads, Since the clashes ... bland Delgado and his followers (Indurain, Armstrong), people with no class, no special talent, the rollers in the business side as shit ten a day, which does nothing but win the Tour , have team members who do all the work for their "leader" (that is an anagram that). The stage yesterday, I said, gave me a smile. Although it surpasses its pursuers, the Astana team has two leaders. The second I spend on it. The first is more interesting. Already a winner of three Grand Tours, a classic, a league and a few secondary turns, he said by his untimely shift changes as a true mercenary, with no faith, which relies only on himself to outdo the others. A man without integrity, but with style. In short, a champion who opened perhaps a new chapter in turn. Badgers and pandas are gloating, what animal would it be Contador? The hyena is not bad, but ... Maybe you have an idea?

First Birthday Polkadot

There's still pros

A look a little closer, what happened today on the tour was not to happen. In normal times, when there 's a boss in the bunch, a team that dominates and the sprinters have ants in the legs, a runner should not only win a stage when the vanguard it almost sucks the wheel. Ben sometimes, there's the guys who are still arriving, without busting your teeth, make the lunch at the big dozen training barking at his heels. It's nice. That's why we still look around, not because we are in chômedu or retired or to have a kid too taf, but to share the happiness of one type alone who waddles her ass in front of more hundred and fifty riders, five hundred cars and trucks three miles. In addition, it is not a Cador, a stiff bristle nobliau, a star, but a guy's bossé because he knows not do much else. Too bad, but it is like that the Tour, from the bottom. Well, after it is written from the top, but that's another story.

Creatine Brazilian Prices

A city tour that will surely spice

Silently, I watched the first stages of the Tour. After passing a little winded on Sainte Devote and some laces on the edges of the pool, the trailer (which is long since a TGV) has embarked on the track of his "Golden Fleece", as they say when there are letters. And what do you think happened? Attracted by the smell, an old fox Cossack Texan and his company (or Kazakh, I do not know) greedily cutting back the folds of the dress that Divine Providence has put under their nose. Between them and victory, there is what makes the glory and honor of those battles of modern times, that is to say nothing.
